Steve and I got up this morning to go to church and it was a bit cold outside. Liz we might come down and visit you in Tulsa a little sooner then planned. :)
It was so cold that when we went outside to start my car it wouldn't start. I guess it wanted to just rest through the cold too. Steve's Intreprid wouldn't start either. I think they were ganging up on us.
So, we tried to go to church today...really. Our cars wouldn't let us. The picture is the view from our bedroom window. We are suppossed to get more snow tonight and for the rest of the week. So I guess we will just be sitting inside all day hoping to stay warm.

New Years 2007 - 2008

The original plan for New Years was to go to sleep around 8 and not get up for a long time. Plans changed though when Shere messaged me Monday afternoon and wanted to get together. It sounded like fun so we made some quick plans. Steve and I rushed home after work and cleaned up the apartment to make it child proof and party ready. The Radabaughs came over and we ate all kinds of food. I made Sloppy Joes and brownies and Shere brought some Hacienda chips and salsa, Logan's rolls, and some healthy snacks. We found some games and had some fun. Shere and I lost to Steve and Chris in Euchre but we beat them at Scrabble. It was fun. Poor miss Kariana wasn't feeling good so she slept most of the night. We tried to wake her up for the Ball Drop though. Cadence actually stayed up the whole night. She is just one bundle of energy.
Shortly after ball dropped, the Radabaughs headed home. It had snowed just a bit on New Years Eve so they had some fun driving home, I'm sure.
New Years Day was fun for Steve and I. We didn't really do anything at all day. It was one of those lazy days we haven't had in awhile. We sat around in our pajamas all day. It was great.
Today it's back to work. This morning was fun though because Steve had to dig our car out so I could go to work. We are supposed to get more snow today too. Today is also Shere's Birthday!!! Happy Birthday Shere!
