A rainbow baby is the understanding that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravages of the storm.  When a rainbow appears, it's doesn't mean the storm never happened or that the family isn't dealing with the aftermath.  When a rainbow appears it means that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds.
 
Our daughter, Anne Michal, was born on October 9th, 2013. 
We could not be more in love with our beautiful rainbow baby.
