Don't Stop Believing

Last night, while I was babysitting the four Walter kids we decided to watch a movie.  Normally, I don't like to watch movies or TV while babysitting.  Last night; however, two of the four were not feeling well.  I let the three year old, Blake, pick the movie because he wasn't feeling good.  He picked Cinderella, which is a great movie.  I hadn't seen it in a long time.  We only got watch half of it before bedtime.

As I was watching the movie with two of the kids sitting on the floor, one on the couch, and the youngest 11 month old snuggling on my lap, pulling on my necklace, I heard to the song in a whole new way.

Listen to the words of Cinderella's opening song:
A dream is a wish your heart makes
When you're fast asleep
In dreams you lose your heartaches
Whatever you wish for, you keep
Have faith in your dreams and someday
Your rainbow will come smiling thru
No matter how your heart is grieving
If you keep on believing
the dream that you wish will come true
Thank you Cinderella for the reminder to not stop believing.

  1. Thank you for sharing. I haven't watched Cinderella in a long time but the words to the song certainly do seem to hit home for me too. What a great reminder not to stop believing!

    1. I admittedly had a tear in eyes listening to the song with the baby on my lap. It's such a true song.
